Jenny by Takara

!
Jenny was originally Barbie. Between 1981 and 1985 Japanese toy company Takara had an agreement with Mattel to manufacture their own version of a Barbie doll under license. But when this agreement broke down, they continued to produce dolls, rebranded as Jenny.
She was always a different sort of character to Barbie, Jenny is portrayed as a schoolgirl, is slightly smaller and has an obviously more girlish figure, and although she is depicted as a 'Western' girl (indeed, her back story is that she's a Californian High School student the face paint has always been in a recognizably Japanese style.
